From 14 to 16 March 2023, the corrugated, cardboard and printing community will gather for the 6th edition of CCE International at the Munich Trade Fair Centre in Germany. CCE International is the industry’s first port of call when it comes to sourcing new technologies in corrugated and folding carton production in Europe. The show features a popular series of Open Seminars, complemented by the offerings of the newly integrated InPrint Munich event brand with its high-profile conference programme on industrial printing. CCE International is co-located to ICE Europe, the world’s leading converting exhibition.
Cut it, fold it, print it: With its unique focus on corrugated and folding carton, CCE International has made its name as a highly specialised marketplace where industry professionals look for bespoke machinery, raw materials, accessories and services for the production and conversion of corrugated, cardboard and paper. Together with the integrated InPrint Munich exhibits and conference, the three-day event offers technical innovation and inspiring ideas for technology buyers from corrugated and carton manufacturing and their target markets, such as packaging, food and beverage, transport and logistics, electrical appliances and electronics, cosmetics and pharmaceutical, furniture, and many more.
Driving innovation for a highly dynamic market
The advent of fit-to-product or box-on-demand systems, born out of a consumer demand for efficient, sustainable packaging and new pricing models in logistics based on dimensional weight, have opened up new opportunities for corrugated board suppliers. Advanced digital printing continues to be a major trend, allowing for high-quality branding, customisation and added functionality of primary and secondary packaging, such as QR codes, temperature sensors or interactive advertising through augmented reality. Above all, sustainability has become a critical concern and innovation driver throughout the value chain.
“Increasing preferences for economical, sustainable and smart packaging remain major growth factors for cartonboard packaging,” explains Patrick Herman, Event Director of the Converting, Paper and Print Events, on behalf of RX. “In this highly dynamic market, CCE International plays an important role in helping buyers engage with innovation by facilitating live demonstrations, networking, and the sharing of professional expertise. Industry professionals can liaise directly with leading tech suppliers to discuss and develop individual production solutions together.”
