The intralogistics sector is in good health and prospects already look good for 2018. Confidence is at its highest since 2007 and order books are brimming over. Reflecting this newfound optimism, ALL4PACK Paris is to welcome a large number of new exhibitors from this sector in November later this year.
2017 was an excellent year for lifting and handling equipment: according to figures supplied by CISMA (French Association for Construction, Infrastructure, Steel and Handling Equipment Industries), the sector generated record turnover of 4. 5 billion euros. This has led to an increasing number of companies from this industry booking their space at ALL4PACK Paris in November. With several months yet to go, the exhibition bringing together the packaging and intralogistics sectors has already registered more than a hundred companies working in handling, secondary packaging and storage machines.
Intralogistics: a dynamic exhibition sector with a substantial increase in surface area
Newcomers to the show include firms working in robotics such as Fenwick Robotics or Universal Robots; but also those dealing in warehousing equipment such as AR Storage Solutions, Bito Systèmes and Norsud. All4Pack will also see the debuts of Flexlink Systems, Blume LMC, Schunk Intec, KNS Lease, Manu Systems, Alpa Manutention, OMS, Megadyne SPA, etc.
On a healthy economic and industrial backdrop, these firms wish to maintain their visibility and show that they are available for new business by exhibiting at Paris-Nord Villepinte in November.
The two watchwords this year are modularity and flexibility, illustrating a growing trend towards smart warehouses that are capable of adapting to all profiles of company and to all levels of activity. Indeed, in a world where e-commerce has become an essential prerequisite in all sectors, whether in consumer retail or business-to-business trade, intralogistics equipment should be made accessible to all sizes of company.
The must-attend meeting for the industry: 26–29 November in Paris
Among their reasons for exhibiting at ALL4PACK Paris, exhibitors cite its wide-ranging visitor audience and the vitality of the packaging sector which together attract an increasing number of other company profiles.
Across all of its sectors, more than 95% of the available surface area of ALL4PACK Paris is already booked up. 30% of exhibitors are new to the show compared with the last event in 2016, and 38 countries are represented.
ALL4PACK’s exhibitors and visitors have saved the date and are set to come together for meetings and discussion around the show’s various features, including the keynote presentation organised with ALLPACK partners Cisma and Aslog, and also with FEM and ELA.
