PRINTMAT: The new initiative to showcase the ultimate printing innovations

An exhibition inside the exhibition will showcase state of the art products and ideas for communicators and producers

March 22, the world of printing aims at surprising with “special effects” no matter if it is for promotional communication or industrial printing purposes. This topical theme couldn’t be left out from Print4All, the event dedicated to the needs of commercial, editorial, and industrial printing that will take place at Fiera Milano, from 29 May to 1 June 2018.

PrintMAT is an exhibition inside an exhibition that focuses on printing innovation. The event will provide the opportunity to learn how products resulting from the combination of new technologies, materials, media (whether traditional or not), and inks can achieve new and enthusiastic outcomes and provide the “wow effect”. The applications presented in this section will provide some examples of state-of-the-art printing processes, which range from finishing and customisation techniques on traditional media (such as paper) to the so-called “Print of Things”, with printed furniture elements, textile samples, applications on leather garments or accessories, up to media like photovoltaic panels, which only recently can be customised and printed thanks to technological innovations.

Visitors can learn about unusual solutions, creative offering, unique combinations, and special effects that can make the difference. Today, all these elements are available for those who want to renew and make their visual communication or product image more effective. All this keeping an eye on the environment.

PrintMAT is part of a larger project, which ideally connects the different exhibitions of The Innovation Alliance event, which will bring IPACK-IMA, MEAT-TECH, PLAST, PRINT4ALL and INTRALOGISTICA Italia together at Fiera Milano from 29 May to 1 June 2018.

In fact, visitors of the Plast and Ipack-Ima pavilions, organised in collaboration with Material ConneXion Italia, can also attend an initiative dedicated to innovative materials (raw materials, semi-finished products, and components) for products and packaging with high added value, and containers. In particular, PLAST-MAT will be dedicated to innovation applied to plastic materials with a strong specialisation in environmental sustainability and state-of-the-art technical performance. On the other hand, IPACK-MAT will focus on innovative packaging solutions, involving, in particular, anti-counterfeiting aspects, smart packaging, high added value packaging and/or with low environmental impact.

These cross-cutting events are the first step for defining the supply chain concept, which is the heart of Innovation Alliance, the event dedicated to industrial innovation.

While content and initiatives are taking shape, Print4All’s sales campaign continues and is getting ready to become the event of reference of the printing sector in Italy and Mediterranean countries in 2018. Milan has always been a practical location, as it is easy to reach and provides numerous opportunities to develop new business contacts.

Print4All picks up the legacy of three historic brands Grafitalia, Converflex and Inprinting. It will be an opportunity to get together and bring new energy to a market that is increasingly focusing on the integration between the various printing “worlds”, and that must meet custom and on-demand requirements. Therefore, PRINTMAT will offer a vision of the future, which is already possible in different application fields, reinforcing and extending the contents that exhibitors will bring with their technological offering.
